Geology Museum & NREL Field Trip

Join us on an eventful field trip to Golden, CO!

We will board a charter bus and travel to the Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum where we will be given a guided tour. Afterwards, we will venture to Woody’s Wood Fire Pizza for lunch. We will board the bus and then travel to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. The NREL is a national laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy where we will receive a presentation on current research being conducted by the NREL, different technologies used in energy and much more.

Space is limited to the first 30 registrations. Please RSVP by 4:00pm on Thursday, July 31st. If you cancel, your fee may not be refundable. Requests will be handled on a case by case basis.

Schedule:
8:30am: Registration & Light Breakfast at Encana
9:15am: Board the bus and head to Golden
10:00am: Tour Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum
11:15am: Lunch at Woody's Wood Fire Pizza
1:30pm: Presentation at NREL
3:00pm: Head back to Denver
