VISIT ONE OF THE AREA'S BIGGEST ATTRACTIONS

PHOENIX GOLD MINE

We will be learning about the history of the mining industry in Colorado, the geology that goes behind mining, and how mining ties back into the oil and gas industry.  Additionally, we will get to pan for our own gold in a creek inside the mine.  Any gold you find is yours to keep. 

$60 for Members/$70 for Non-Members

Cost includes all transportation, entry fees, and lunch.

SCHEDULE:

9 a.m.:     Bus arrives at Encana - 370 17th St.

                 (Eat breakfast before or bring on to the bus)

10 a.m.:   Tour/gold panning

12 p.m.:   Bus departs for Lunch at Beaujo's Pizza

1:15 p.m.:  Optional visit to Idaho Springs Visitor     Center/Mining Museum

2:00 p.m.:  Bus departs back to Encana

3:00 p.m.:  Arrival back at Encana
